About The Speaker
Mark Susca is the Airport Emergency Planning and Resilience Manager at Manchester Airport. He is also Deputy Team Leader of Cheshire Search and Rescue with experience in challenging environments and Rescue Trauma Critical Care (RTCC). He studied Safety & Incident Investigation at Cranfield University and was formally a pilot, flying as Senior First Officer for Jet 2 & Eastern Airways. Mark has a broad understanding of safety. He can appreciate the challenges faced as an individual professional working in teams through his experience as a pilot and with Cheshire Search and Rescue. He is also uniquely placed to understand the challenges faced by senior managers developing safety as an essential component of organisational strategy through his role at Manchester Airport. Mark is a dynamic, team player and will use his knowledge and skills to deliver our main workshop on day two of HFC19.
